Calling all birding enthusiasts! Be tantalized and wowed by the vast array of bird species and nature found at the beautiful T. Mabry Carlton, Jr. Memorial Reserve (Carlton Reserve). Join Sarasota County volunteer guide, Charlie Sample as he leads you on a birding nature journey at 7:15 am – 12:15 pm. This is a FREE event.
Sat. May 6 – 5:30 PM
Enjoy drinks, dancing, music and more at this benefit to raise money for the habitat clinic that rehabilitates and cares for lions, tigers, leopards and more big cats. You can even meet the cats and feed them. Price is $25 – $100.
Wed. May 10 – 8:00 AM
Join us for a trip to Fort Myers for a tour of the Edison & Ford Winter Estates. Admission will include a guided tour of the Edison Family House, guest and caretaker’s cottages, and the Ford Estate. Tour fee is $79.

The Dig the Beach Beach Volleyball Series returns to Siesta Key for our annual 3rd weekend of May date! We expect to career to over 400 teams. The event is open to all levels of skill. Saturday play features our Adult divisions, with Sunday dedicated to Juniors ages 12-18 years of age.

Geek Pride Day is celebrated each year on May 25! The date was chosen because its the date that the movie Star Wars was released. One thing is for sure, there are millions of us out there that GEEK OUT on running, jogging and/or walking. So it’s time to GET YOUR GEEK ON and celebrate Geek Day by completing a virtual 5K and we’ll send you an awesome GEEK DAY MEDAL!
